One of our most prestigious clients in Hatfield with the latest and most advanced automated warehouse is looking for a permanent hands on pro-active Planning Analytics Manager. The requirement is due to an on-going business growth.

The Planning Analytics Manager will be working closely with the operation teams and joining a team of 4 other Planning Analytics managers, based in the Head Office where the Central Planning Team is located. It does also involve the person to be looking at continuous improvement opportunities at all times, Understanding complex and high risk projects, managing teams and being highly skilled in Analysis.

As the Planning Analytics Manager, your duties will include:

  • Being responsible for recruiting and developing your own team of highly skilled Analysts with help of HR
  • Collaborating with the wide network of business stakeholders
  • Leading, Analysing and driving complex business projects for departments
  • Continuously looking for efficiency wins in planning processes
  • Complex project management
  • Using analysis to identify improvements in order to support business

The successful Planning Analytics Manager will have the following skills and experience:

  • Team management experience in operationally focused desirably workforce planning analytics role
  • Outstanding analytical skills and ability to identify and communicate trends and patterns in data
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Solid decision making capability
  • Project management
  • Self-motivated with a drive to work independently
  • Commercially savvy with eye for detail
  • Can collaborate with other departments in operationally critical activities
  • Experience with SQL and VBA is desirable

As a Planning Analytics Manager, you will be required to work from Monday to Friday, completing a 40 hour work per week.
